PTSD_Our Place is a group for those of us with PTSD to connect together and chat about stuff. It can be the way you are feeling - how PTSD is effecting you today... or we could talk about your favourite comedians, music, and this list could go on for ages!
I put out regular posts, often with a video attached. The average video time is 20 minutes, and each time I talk about a topic relating to PTSD. It might a Funny Story day, or a What Do You Think Guys day.
If you'd like to suggest a topic you want me to talk about then send me a message in the group. Don't hesitate! If it's too cheeky I'll let you know haha!
By building up a library of videos, posts, and chats, this is a place where we can send each other good vibes, share our thoughts, or sit back quietly and watch some content.
As the group grows we'll shape it together.

It's PTSD Awareness Month in June. Last year I organised a solo presentation, just me and the camera. This year I wanted to bring together some special guests so we can have a series of live chats, each Friday during June. Some of my guests are diagnosed with PTSD, as am I. We will be talking about our experiences post-trauma and coping mechanisms. We will not be recounting our trauma.
*If you know someone with PTSD, please let them know about these talks. It could give them a real boost.

An ever-growing list of videos to browse. Katie-Marie shares her thoughts and experiences living with PTSD, and welcomes you to share yours.
She does not talk about trauma, or what led to PTSD, but takes her point of reference from post-trauma - the effects of the experience, and how she manages it. Each video is a mixture of sharing personal stories, coping mechanisms, and more than anything, relaxing on the sofa for a chat.
